FIFTH
ANNUAL DRY FLY BAMBOO & GRAPHITE WEEK at CHIME LODGE.

Chime Lodge is pleased to announce the Fifth Annual Bamboo and Graphite,  Lodge Based, Fly Rod Weeks.  Fully devoted to concentrating as much as possible on lightweight bamboo or graphite rod aficionados with a penchant for big trout on the dry fly using light tackle.

2014 DATES:  The Best Dry Fly Fishing Experience is Had in February and March.  The weeks run Sunday to Sunday,  You'll be glad you signed up.

The success of my initial 2010 foray into an exclusive week of dry fly fishing practiced with light trout rods of bamboo and graphite in Patagonia was so great that the returnees brought friends back with  them for the following seasons. As a result of the grand time enjoyed by all on these very unique dry fly fishing weeks, excitement is surging about the 2015 season.   The word is that the Lodge has be upgraded again for the best in accomodations.  There has been much new fishing equipment added. This promises to be a spectacular year!

Friends bring friends to share the joy of catching large trout on a dry fly while using a lightweight bamboo or graphite fly rods. Space at Chime is limited to only 8 guests per week. The week features exciting river floats and dry flies and small nymphs and walking/wadiing dry fly fishing trips all comfortably based out of the Lodge.  There are lake floats for big trout with streamers too, if you are so inclined.

So pick your fishing style and let us know your interest right away.  The Lodge is already more than three-quarters booked with returnees for next year. Don't be disappointed, there are still openings for this most special fishing experience available right now and it is fast getting to be time to be already signed up, so please hurry as these weeks do seem to book up so fast!)

The Program:

We have a week of special treats for all bamboo and fly-rod lovers. You will enjoy the week's opportunities to share rivers, conversation, meals and fishing and tackle thoughts with people who have spent their lives being in love with, using fly tackle and just living bamboo and graphite rods and fly fishing.

You can fish the streams with a lightweight four or five rod and/or fish gin clear lakes with a six or seven weight for bruiser Browns, rainbows and Percha in a place that has been immortalized in trout dogma by legends like, Joe Brooks, Ernest Schwiebert, Mel Krieger, Lefty Kreh and so many others. Of course, you'll be able to bring your favorite fly rods

Chime Lodge, on the banks of Chimehuin River is conveniently located to access the most famous and productive rivers in Patagonia. We have carefully picked this time of the season to get the best conditions for dry fly fishing, a combination of lower water levels, great hatches, and solitude. During our weeks you'll fly fish the world famous Chimehuin, Malleo, Collon Cura, Calefu and Alumine Rivers, plus some of the areas best lakes with streamers for big trout action galore. . We'll both wade fish and float and stop in the most productive pools and runs for non stop action.  If you enjoy fine fly rods  and want to have a ball fishing in Paradise, do not miss this week. Space is very limited with many spots already spoken for.

The Week:
