Made of Japanned tin with metal covers for the fly compartments. This model was made in two versions and two sizes only. This pair represents both of those differences and is complete set. Size 1 is 6".x3.5".x7/8". and is the PLAIN PATTERN with 15 compartments. Size #2 is the IMPROVED G.P. PATTERN and is 4". x 3". x 3/4". and is fitted with a numbered washable tablet in the lid that corresponds to the 9 numbered compartments. The interior enamel shows some flaking from age, but these rare boxes remain totally usable today. Marked with an oval N/S Hardy nameplate on covers.
