The construction and materials are of heavier gauge than the Hardy unit and the overall quality is on a par with the Hardy product. Stamped "Made in Scotland" on the Spring Belt clip.                     93178. Framed Limited Edition Print & Stamp. A Framed Print of Stone Sheep by Ken Carlson of the original art done for the 1982 National Wild Sheep Stamp.                                  93085.   vom HOFE ANTIQUE FLIES. A collection of FOUR Edward vom Hofe & Co., 92 Fulton St. NEW YORK, printed paper envelopes each containing gut snelled, square hook trout flies The envelopes are marked -"Silver Doctor", "Brown Hackle", "Parmachene Belle" and "Seth Green" and contain a sample of each pattern. There are 10 flies in all. These packets were wet at one time and the paper came away with discoloration and stains and the fly hooks are all rusted, but all the feathers are well preserved and the packets themselves are the true prize.  F/G. 45.00.   SOLD

                           93240.    "E B"   EARLY ALUMINUM FLY BOX. Never before seen and pretty spectacular! This unique box is of higher handmade quality than the highly respected Wheatley's. The design is unlike any I've ever seen. The Markings are the initials "EB" in a half-circle and the words "marque deposee" on the front of the box. heavy aluminum construction with a pop-out upper tray with a felt wet fly pad in the lid. This hinged tray drops down to reveal a leader compartment up in the lid. The bottom of the box has 6 square, see-through aluminum frame, celluloid covers which have yellowed with time. 3 of the covered compartments are divided into four bins, 2 are divided into 2 bins and one is a large single compartment to accommodate ant sizes of flies The box size is 6" x 3.75" x 1.25".                                 93235. RARE ALUMINUM SNELLED WET FLY BOX. Circa 1920, rectangular 8.50" x 4.0" x 1-1/16" natural aluminum snelled wet fly box with fly holders at each end of the wet fly compartment and gut leader soak pads in the center to keep the gut snells soft for fishing. This unique box has a three compartment dry fly holder at each side of the wetly area each of which is covered with a see-thru aluminum cover. The inside of the box is decoratively engine turned and quite nice. Highly unusual box in excellent condition and of the highest quality level. No maker's mark. .early Wheatley? E. 75.00.

 

  

      93210.  charles Farlow Gut Leader.  Sixty years old and still in as new condition. An original Charles Farlow & Co, Ltd of Haymarket, London packaged 9 foot Silkworm Gut Leader. 93106.  English made heavy duty aluminum gaff.  17".  Virtually hand made and hand filed telescoping hand gaff made of aluminum. Extends to 29' for use and compresses to 17" for belt or bag carry. Carried on the belt via a beautifully formed aluminum belt tension clip.  3/4" diameter heavy gauge, cast aluminum handle with a rubber grip. The knob on the back-end makes a perfect salmon priest. A hand-filed folding cover protects the 2-1/2" Stainless Hook. Likely made by Farlow in the 1950's. Stamped with an "F" in the handle knob. Fantastic accessory item.  E.  55.00.

These absolutely magnificent, luggage quality, hard leather reel cases are no longer made by Hardy, but faithfully reproduced by Arne Mason, one of this country's top leather craftsmen. This one is sized to fit up to a 4.25” diameter by 4.0” overall width salmon or salt water reel.
