Bluing is faded to about 70%, but appears original. Hand checkering, boxlock, extractors, double trigger. Stock shows handling marks in the Walnut with a 14-7/8" LOP to the ITHACA Rubber Butt Pad. This gun is in very good to excellent overall condition and will make a fine field gun as it sits. The gun is totally sound. Pistol grip with HR cap. Has a set of 26" barrels choked Improved & Modified with a checkered full Beavertail fore-end for both 2-3/4" and 3" shells. Fitted with a lovely piece of lightly figured walnut, box-lock action, Single non-selective Silver trigger, auto ejectors, checkered pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm, light engraving. Original Browning butt plate to a 14-1/8" LOP. This gun shows virtually no real use and remains in 98% condition. This fine light double retains most of its original case hardening (90%) on the receiver and 95% original blue on the barrels. This is an early model with a checkered walnut stock and forearm, The original hard rubber butt plate has been replaced with a formed piece of Walnut, nicely done, to a 13-1/2" LOP.
